If you are out and about in the New Forest this weekend then add Minstead to your list.

With a 13th century church where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, is buried and the village green where donkeys and ponies graze with their young.

It’s a quintessential New Forest village!

Just around the corner is Furzey Gardens with 8 acres of  landscaped gardens containing many interesting and rare plants. There is also a gallery, open to the public from March to October, as well as a tree house and play area for children.

Whilst visiting make sure you pop in to see us at the Trusty Servant Inn, serving delicious homemade food, fantastic specials and local real ales!

There’s something for everyone!
